Hotel les Nuits 3* - Antwerpen

This boutique hotel is situated in the heart of Antwerp at 200m from the biggest shopping street 'Meir' and only 400m from the cathedral surrounded with lots of restaurants.
As we all know, Antwerp is the city of fashion and it is great to go shopping.

We booked this hotel for a party in town and took the advantage to go shopping during the day at arrival.

Room/ bathroom:

We booked a standard room which was very nice at the first side. The room is not that big, but as the hallway is used as part of the bathroom (with sink, mirror & a good hairdryer). At the right handside there was a spacious seperate toilet and on the left there was the shower.
The walk-in shower is very spacious, but into my opinion not long enough (a lot of water was spoiled in front of the shower) & the ventilation is not very good, as there was a lot of moisture spots on the walls and you could really smell that. They have very good bath products provided (shampoo, showergel, soapbar & body lotion). Also the towels were of good quality.

The beds are really of a very good quality and are very soft. And so are the pillows (one hard and one soft one per person provided). We had a large double bed (180*200).

The room was very nice decorated with chandeleers. There was also a flat screen in front of the bed and a desk with seat (even though there wss not that much space to sit).
For me the negative point in the rooms was the smell of moisture and as it was a black room (black carpets & wallpaint), you could really see everything on the floor and walls. So it was very easy to see there was some repainting necessaire in the room.

Breakfast:
The breakfast is one of the highlights of this hotel. Everything is wrapper individual, which makes it very hygienic. There is several kinds of breeds served (which you have to cut yourself) and then you can pick all individual jars filled with Nutella, jam, fresh cut fruit, smoked salmon, cheese, prepare, chicken curry,... And of course also cereals were provided. Coffee and fresh orange juice are provided at your table.

Bar/restaurant:
We had a glass of white wine in the bar with friends. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. It is also very nice to sit there with the big sofa's. Even though you're sitting next to the reception (as this space is used as lobby and bar), it is a nicely decorated spot in the hotel.
The restaurant is at the other side of the bar and is also a nice place. We did not enjoy the diner in the hotel, as we went out for diner in the city centre.

If you would ask me to rate this hotel, I would give a 7/10 when it comes to price/quality. If you look to the prices of  this boutique hotel, you would expect more. You can really see this hotel is not new (already when you take the elevator).
But it has a super location, good beds and breakfast + the staff is very friendly, and that's why I would give it a 7.
