Hotel Alliance Thalasso - Pornic-Loire Atlantique/France

I've visited this 4* hotel during a famtrip and did experience the thalasso and bar myself.

This hotel is directly situated at the beach at the Atlantic ocean. 

Bikes are for rent for only 1eur per day. 

Restaurant/bar:

The restaurant and bar are situated directly at the beach with a great view over the ocean. The view is amazing as it's a natural beach with lots of rocks.

There is also a seperate restaurant provided for those people that are following a cure with dietical menu's. This is also included in the halfboard rates.

Rooms:

There is 2 room types (marine or contemporary). Both are having the same room space.

All beds are 2metres long and the doubles are 160 metres wide and 100cm for twin bed rooms, this with possibility to be connected to each other. (Choice can be given upon arrival). 

Junior suite:

This is the only room type which is different from the standard rooms. There is a living room with sofa bed, which is suitable for families with children (2 adt. + 2 kids). 

'Litoral' rooms are having a side view on the ocean.

'Ocean' rooms do have a frontal view on the ocean. Double and twin beds possible. This is a different decoration of the room, but with the same space.

Bathroom: 

There is a hairdryer in the bathroom (not very strong), small bottles of shampoo,shower gel,body lotion & tissues. In all rooms bath/shower is provided. (This time they're high enough to stand underneath if you're bigger then 1.70m :-))

Thalasso:

This is a real thalasso hotel as the offer is very wide. The massage rooms are very well equiped. So is the big swimming pool (33 degrees) with jets and whirlpools. Also a large hammam with cold footbath in the middle of it. The sauna is rather small. The atmosphere of the thalasso is rather clinical. 

Advantages:

- real thalasso hotel with great location at the beach + only 10 min walk from the city centre of Pornic.

- spacious rooms

Disadvantages:

- clinical atmosphere in the thalasso. 

HINT: go for a walk along the beach. There is a path provided and you'll experience nature at it's best along the ocean.

Conclusion:

This is a real thalasso hotel. So advisable for couples who are willing to relax.

As thalasso hotel I'd rate this hotel 8/10, but I can't rate the food quality. This is only rating for location, equipment and roomfacilities.
