There are 40 rooms with 1 royal suite, family rooms, triple rooms & doubles rooms.
I have visites this hotel during a famtrip, so I did not have the oppotunity to enjoy the hotel myself.
The bar is located next to the reception and has a reasonable pricing.
There are 2 breakfast rooms (see @ bottom main bkf room) and the bkf is served in buffet style. This gives the opportunity for groups to have a separate room.
Parking underneath the hotel - € 9/ night.
Standard rooms:
The beds are separate, but can be combined with a zipper into a double bed. They are 90 X 200 cm and very comfortable matrasses.
Some Rooms have a balcony, but there is a posisbility to have a view over the harbour and sea. All the rooms have separate toilet.
Bathroom has an average space and is well equiped. There are 2 towels per person (1 small/ 1 big) and soap with herbs in a despenser. All rooms have a walk-in shower and a strong hairdryer.
So you don't need to being your own.
Family room:
The family rooms are large and do have a small kitchen. The couch can be changes into a bed for the kids. bathroom with shower & bath. The royal suite has a separate room for the kids (also couch in separate space) and a balcony.
HINT: there are 2 rooms with a private jacuzzi on the terrace.
The hotel has a rooftopbar where breakfast is served and also drinks in the evening. Clients can eat inside or outside.
Negative:
- not in the city centre, but direct at cruise harbour (which had also it's advantages) - this is the only thing that came up into my mind.
Positive:
- the breakfast room with a great view on the rooftop
- spacious rooms for a 3* hotel with good equipment
- zipper possibility to make it 1 matress.
- stone floors in the rooms
General conclusion:
I would rate this 3* hotel Port Toga in Bastia a 8,5/10 for a 3* hotel. The hotel is only a 10 min walk from the old harbour of Bastia and has all the facilities for a good 3* hotel.
